Watch the New Wonder Woman Trailer that Debuted at the KCAs

The new trailer for Wonder Woman is finally here and gives us a closer look at Diana’s life on Themyscira before she became our favorite hero.

When the first full-length for Wonder Woman debuted, we received an amazing look at the world of Themyscira and the companionship between Diana Prince and Steve Trevor. It was nothing short of amazing. And as far as DCEU films go, it was brighter and sharper than any other entry.

Of course, Wonder Woman enjoys such a lengthy history. One that’s worthy of celebration, but more importantly, one that needs to be told just right. The duo of director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot seem to have found the perfect recipe for Wonder Woman’s first live action appearance … and the first summer blockbuster directed by a woman … and the first female superhero movie to be directed by a woman.

It’s a big deal, okay?

Yesterday, Warner Bros. unveiled a new poster. With the tagline “Wonder,” the poster shows a more subdued version of Diana against a beautiful orange sunset. Honestly, it looks like the most exquisite comic book panel I’ve ever seen and I’m thrilled.

Along with the poster, Warner Bros. also dropped a trailer teaser for Wonder Woman. In the 15 second clip, we hear some dialogue from Robin Wright’s General Antiope. With a rather believable accent, Wright’s character and Diana engage in some combat training that ends with Diana brandishing her cuffs to cause a massive eruption through Themysicra.

As we all know, Wonder Woman is canonically the greatest fighter around. Not just on Themyscira, but also in all of DC Comics. Moreover, she was easily the best part about Batman v Superman, which makes the anticipation for her solo film even greater.

The newest trailer debuted at the Kids’ Choice Awards where both Chris Pine and Gal Gadot presented. So without further ado, check out the newest trailer for Wonder Woman:
