For fans of Star Trek Deep Space 9, it can be a rather had life. Especially since no one will make them HD. That is, until now.
Those who control things over at CBS and Paramount don’t seem to care about Star Trek Deep Space 9. They’re not giving us the show with HD episodes and that is fine, I suppose. Lucky for us though, the people in charge of making the documentary on the show want it to look the best it can be.
For those who don’t know, Deep Space 9 follows Captain Benjamin Sisko and his crew aboard the space station Deep Space Nine. Created by the Cardassians, the space station came in contact with quite the array of villains.
For many, it was their first venture into Star Trek television. For me, it was the first Star Trek series my brother ever showed me. So it will always hold a special place in my heart. Now it seems that Adam Nimoy and former DS9 showrunner Ira Stephen Behr are teaming up together to try and give us as much high definition Deep Space 9 as possible.
And honestly, thank you to them. This show is great and an amazing representation of what Star Trek stands for and it needs to be seen by younger audiences. Hopefully they can gain the rights from CBS and Paramount to give us the footage that many deserve to see. Especially because Captain Benjamin Sisko is awesome as well as the rest of his crew.

Thank you Adam Nimoy for caring enough to give us HD versions of the show. Your father would be proud and I know somewhere my brother is losing his mind as well as I.
