Everybody Hates Chris

The series finale of Everybody Hates Chris ends on a giant cliffhanger. Did Chris ever get his GED? After dropping out of school before he’s forced to the repeat the tenth grade. The series winds down over family dinner with Dad, Julius, about to read the results of the GED test.

Of course, Chris passed his test. He got a job at a local arcade for a while to gain a little experience and pass the time until he gets older. Then, he goes to a community college in his neighborhood, and after a survey course on computer programming, he becomes interested in digital technology.

He passes the early ’90s in software development, and then gets a job at an up and a little coming dot com company, Ebay. Chris put in time and energy, and saw the company grow into the online juggernaut it is now.

Today, Chris is successful enough to retire early, but he’s so well loved and admired at his company, they don’t want to let him go. He’s widely regarded a pioneer in his field, and he’s succeeded in creating a culture of acceptance and compassion in all the areas in his life.

His wife was Miss New York 1993, and they have two lovely children that they adore equally. Neither of their boys is ever mocked, diminished, or made the butt of the family jokes. He’s an all-around good guy.
