The Bravermans are probably one of the most beautifully and authentically written families in recent TV history. All the dysfunction and melodrama just drew me closer to these folks, and I’ll admit, I got really invested. Losing the patriarch and best-dad-ever, Zeek, was one of the most traumatic moments I’ve ever experienced in over three decades of being a TV watcher. All those Braverman children went their own ways and had their own respective happy endings, so it’s hard to imagine a better ending to their stories.

If we pick up with them now, only a few years removed from when we met them, we’d find them all happy and healthy. Sarah and Hank are living a happy, albeit sometimes tense, life Berkely. Sarah is a successful photographer, she and Hank’s business is thriving.

her unnamed husband, played by Scott Porter, are raising a pretty little girl, and Amber is downright killing it as a record executive at the Luncheonette. Drew is still plucking away at college, but has since changed his boring area of study from finance to music, and is probably going into the family business with his sister and Uncle Crosby.

Max is thriving in college, and he has a pretty little girlfriend who wears braids and plays the tuba. He received his high school diploma from Adam, whose the head master of the school he and Kristina started. Hattie is absolutely an East Coast girl now, and only comes home for big, important family moment – and to offer Nora a reprieve from Kristina’s smothering.
