Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl‘s season finale dropped a huge bomb that somehow seemed to make perfect sense. After six seasons of Kristin Bell voicing the elusive “Gossip Girl,” it was a surprise to find out that the blogger was actually none other than Dan Humphries himself. The last episode also provided a tidy time jump showing Chuck and Blair’s cutey of a young son, Dan and Serena’s wedding, and Rufus in love with Lisa Loeb. Blair and Jenny found a way to work together in Blair’s fashion business. And apparently, Nate was poised to run for Mayor.

Nate became Mayor, after all, leaving a vacuum at his successful publication The Spectator. Naturally, Dan steps in to take over. He and Serena team up to rocket it to the top in the nation.

Blair and Chuck work tirelessly to maintain their positions on the Upper East Side. There’s rumors circulating that Blair is a little too close to her pilates instructor. Chuck spends too many hours at the office, and Blair gets lonely. They put on a brave face and plan to be married forever.

Jenny picks up the slack for Blair and is essentially running the brand on her own. She has designs to take it into a new direction behind Blair’s back, but needs to scheme her way into the votes from the board. Jenny is married to a perfectly delightful woman who has never used extortion, bribery, or blackmail to get something she wants.
