There’s been so much talk about a Friends reunion over the years, true fans can’t help but wonder where all our favorite neighbors would be now. It’s hard to imagine this group being anything but young and fun, living out their twenties in their Manhattan apartment. But these friends would be well into their 40s now, and their lives would obviously look at lot different.

Ross and Rachel have a teenager and a full-grown adult (sort of) — Ben is 21 and Emma is 17. They are preparing for Ben to start job hunting and Emma is probably close to leaving for college. Rachel is a worry wort mother who uses apps to chart Emma’s whereabouts, and Ross really pressures Ben to apply to graduate school, like he did.

Monica and Chandler’s twins are just now 13, grappling with puberty and middle school. Monica definitely drinks more wine than she should and starts far earlier in the day than is advisable. Chandler has more “dad-jokes” than is comfortable for his children, and embarrasses them constantly.

Phoebe and Mike are still happily married and living in some quirky corner of the newest up and coming neighborhood in New York City. Phoebe works occasionally at some artistic endeavors. Mike supports them both with his successful career as a writer for children’s albums.
