In the closing episode of Fresh Prince of Bel Air, the family all sets off to leave California. All except Will. Will decides to stay on the West Coast to stay in school, while Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv move to New York to be with Hillary and Ashley. Geoffrey goes back to England to be with his son, and Carlton transfers to Princeton.
Once Hillary’s show moved to New York, it really took off. She took her show and translated that into an expansive brand. She’s a downright media mogul, starting first with her own magazine and then her own television network. She’s grown into a well-rounded, influential woman, and has more sway over what people buy than any other celebrity.
Will stayed in California to finish his studies and really buckled down once his family moved. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Management and went on to be one of the most successful agents in Hollywood. It’s rumored the Ari character from Entourage is modeled after him, minus the douchey personality and bad wig.
Carlton enjoys quite a bit of success in the financial industries. He is a multi-faceted business owner, most noted for talking young, unknown entrepreneurs, financially backing them, and then mentoring them into huge fortunes and careers.
