Married… With Children
Like Gilligan’s Island, Married … With Children didn’t get an official send-off. It was canceled before the show could tie up any loose ends, and we’re left without much closure. Last we saw the Bundys, Al had transformed the shoe shop into a massage parlor, and Kelly took lessons so she could offer massages of her own.
Currently, Peg and Al aren’t living together as a married couple. After all the year of torment and bickering, they decided to call it. Al still lives in their family home, but has since retired from the massage business. He’s living the curmudgeon’s dream. He shuffles around the house, eating meals prepared and delivered by a service, and he watches whatever he likes on the television. He doesn’t have to dole out allowances to anybody anymore.
Peg became a skilled BINGO player, and after a particularly big win, tried her hand in the stock market. She realized her talent for it, and now she does deals from behind her laptop in the comfort of her beachside bungalow. She’s an avid traveler, preferring to visit countries which are known for their hunky, scantily-clad men and exotic cocktails.
Kelly struggled to find her way in the world, bouncing around from job to job until, on a lark, she auditioned for a burlesque show in the ritzy part of Northern Chicago. She is now a world-renowned dancer with her own line of clothing, accessories, and make-up.
Bud runs an in-home daycare for his grandchildren and their friends. He specializes in hands-on instruction and won several awards for his forward-thinking methods in education techniques.
