Here are 13 Actors We’d Love to see Play Professor X in the X-Men

7. David Oyewolo

David Oyelowo is an amazing actor. We know this from his how amazing his work continues to be no matter what. But really, he is just someone who can play any part and we become fully invested in it. For instance, his take on Martin Luther King Jr.

We care so much about everyone role he does that he would bring that same energy to Charles Xavier. He would make us care about Charles in a way we probably haven’t ever done before. While we obviously love Charles (we wouldn’t be making this list if we didn’t), David would bring new life to the character and have us invest in him in a way we had never done before.

Honestly, it is just nice to see someone like David in starring roles. He’s so great in everything and he truly transforms into the characters that he is portraying. So he would make a fantastic Professor X. We would get to watch him completely take over Charles in a new way and make sure audiences loved him.

So that’s why David Oyelowo would make an incredible Charles. He’s a brilliant actor and really, who doesn’t love David in everything that he does?
