9. Riz Ahmed

Now that we have established why we want a man of color or a woman to take on the role, here is another option for you. Riz Ahmed, famous rapper and actor, would be a great addition to the Marvel cinematic universe. He is currently the talk of the town for his work in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Night Of.

But he is also just an amazing actor who is great to look at. And don’t just trust us, look at his award nominations and how frequently he’s being put to work. Clearly the boy is doing something right. Everyone wants to work with him.

Another British man who can easily take on the role, Riz has a kind of charisma that makes you want to watch everything he does. He draws you in and breaks your heart with his work. So wouldn’t he make an incredible Charles?

Yes he’d have to play younger Xavier, which is a lot of this list, but still. After X-Men: Apocalypse, they need a bit of a fresh start. So maybe make that start by casting Riz Ahmed to play the Professor himself. We’d all be happier because of it.
