12. Daniel Craig

Mr. James Bond himself wouldn’t be a terrible Charles Xavier. Okay, maybe he would be but look, sometimes you just want a beefy beautiful man in a movie for no reason other than to look at him. But also Daniel Craig is extremely talented and is one of those actors that you would think would be too serious.

But he’s not. He has a wonderful sense of humor and has the ability to break from his serious rep to bring us a good laugh. He does it on award shows and he does it in interviews. Even better? He’s a bit of a secret dork too. Remember that stormtrooper that Rey used a Jedi mind trick on in Star Wars Episode 7: the Force Awakens?

Well, that happened to be Daniel Craig. He was filming Skyfall and decided he wanted to be in Star Wars so they let him. So we know he has a bit of a nerdy side so he’d probably be into the idea of playing Charles Xavier. And really, we all know we love a hot Professor X so it’d just be nice to watch Daniel Craig portray him. Even if he would be sitting the whole time.
