Here are 13 Actors We’d Love to see Play Professor X in the X-Men

13. Naomie Harris

Naomie Harris is in high demand as of recently. The Bond girl turned Oscar nominated actress was part of Moonlight and many are continually praising her abilities. So why shouldn’t she be on our dream casting list to play Charles Xavier?

Sure most of you will say it is because she’s a woman but remember, this list isn’t paying attention to your gender conforming ways. We’re praising everyone who can do an amazing job at playing Charles. The point is to make the character amazing in each and every aspect, not whether or not the actor playing the character is a white man or not.

So to us, Naomie would be an incredible choice. After all, she already has one thing going for her: she’s British. While not a requirement of the role, it is nice to have someone who actually has a British accent playing it. Because no matter how amazing you are at dialects, you can always tell when someone isn’t actually British.

And Naomie is clearly talented. She was just nominated for an Oscar after all. So we say that she’s a great candidate for the role. And it’d be pretty amazing having her play this iconic character!
