Here are 13 Actors We’d Love to see Play Professor X in the X-Men

4. Dan Stevens

For fans of the show Legion, this makes sense. Well, kind of. Dan Stevens, who plays David Haller in the show, is technically the son of Charles Xavier in the comic universe. We don’t know what it will end up being in the show but we do know that David has abilities similar to what Charles can do.

They’re different obviously but we’ll have to see where the show takes that. But how amazing would it be to have Dan Stevens take on Charles? The British actor puts on an American accent for his work in Legion so he has the advantage of being British.

He may not look great bald but also, Dan can work it. He is a beautiful man and an incredible actor. Honestly it would just be fun to connect the television who to the movies. Whether that is with Dan taking on another role in the X-Men universe or just continually playing David, we want to see him interact with Charles in some way or another. And maybe that some way is taking on the role himself.

Who knows what the future holds for Dan Stevens but playing Professor X would be a pretty cool gig.
