Seth Meyers vs Stephen Colbert: The Trump Address to Congress

Well really, it is Seth Meyers vs Jon Stewart today as Colbert brought out the big guns to take on Trump’s address to Congress

Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert have been doing a great job of taking down Trump recently. But it seems as if they’re covering the same points (as we want) but who is doing a better job? Honestly, it doesn’t matter.

Seth did his normal approach, just called out the facts with his charm. Luckily for him, there was a Saturday Night Live joke there and it hit really well for him.

Meanwhile, just up the dial, Jon Stewart is back in the best possible way. He took a break from the farm to come back because, according to him, he misses it. And we miss him. So Colbert let Stewart call out Trump on the banning of members of the press.

And it shows us exactly what we loved about Jon Stewart from the beginning. He calls to the media and tells them to pick themselves back up and start to fight back.

And then Jon Stewart said “anal” a bunch of times and Stephen Colbert rolled his eyes.

Honestly it is just nice to see. Watching these shows take on the President in the only way they know how gives us a sense of hope. They are calling it all out and making sure we know what is going on in our country. And they’re doing it in a way that makes us want to watch them and believe them.

Both men are doing a great job and maybe this means that Jon Stewart is going to make a comeback on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on a regular basis. Either way, we’re glad we have these men telling us the truth.
