Since last August, Chris Pine has been growing out his beard for A Wrinkle in Time. But after wrapping, his face is beardless once more.
JustJared broke our hearts when they released images of Chris Pine without his beard from this past Thursday. The Star Trek star stepped out at the Oscar Wilde Awards to support Zachary Quinto and that beautiful werewolf looking beard was gone.
Now, as someone who loves Chris no matter what hair is growing on his face, it is a little upsetting to see him with that boyish charm once more. He did, after all, look like a sexy werewolf. Now, we just have to wait until A Wrinkle In Time comes out for us to see that beard once again.
Of course, it is not that Chris looks bad without the beard. As someone who loves him very much, Chris Pine never looks bad. But it is shocking. For the last six months, every picture we’ve seen has been him with a very salt and pepper looking beard.
Even in Hell or High Water, Chris had facial hair. The only time he doesn’t seem to have any is when he is playing James T. Kirk in the Star Trek films. So maybe they’re going to be filming the next one soon or maybe he just wanted a change. But whatever it may be, at least it has us all talking about Chris Pine. And that’s, personally, my favorite thing to talk about.

Chris, I like you with no beard. I like you with a beard, I just like you. But also, maybe trim that bob of a haircut you have now. Or not, whatever works for you. (The haircut is weirdly kind of hot.)
