Bill Paxton, Beloved Actor, Dies at 61 During Surgery

Famed and beloved actor Bill Paxton died at the age of 61 due to heart failure during a surgery today. We remember him for his brilliant work.

Bill Paxton, known for his work in Twister, Titanic, Apollo 13 and so many others has unfortunately passed away. During a surgery, he suffered heart failure that, in the end, was the reason for his death.

While this is a sad moment, let us remember the brilliant work that Bill gave us throughout the years. First of all, he has a career that spans from 1975 to a movie coming out this year with Emma Watson called The Circle.

He always transformed into his roles and made us appreciate every moment that Paxton was on the screen. In the Titanic, we cared about discovering the remains because of how much Brock Lovett wanted it.

Twister thrilled us and again, we were invested in the story because of Bill’s performance. Every movie we watched him in, we cared about him. And that is truly something special. When an actor can make his audience invested in the story, his job is being done right.

With Bill Paxton, it was never question about whether or not his job was getting done. It was about how amazing he was to see on screen. The world lost a great one today, Bill and his work are iconic and we’re going to be talking about his films for years to come.

The Circle will, from the looks of it, be amazing and will unfortunately be Bill’s last work. Truly a loss to us all.
