The Walking Dead 711 “Hostiles and Calamities” Synopsis

The Walking Dead returns this weekend in “Hostiles and Calamities” and Negan and the Saviors aren’t giving up on their hunt for Daryl.

Now that Rick Grimes and his crew have teamed up with the Scavengers, the hunt for guns has commenced. But first, we need to jump back to Negan’s mission of finding Daryl. We’re back this week at Camp Negan with him and his Saviors and it looks like they want some vengeance.

The TV Guide synopsis reads:

“An Alexandrian must navigate the mysterious world within the Saviors’ compound.”

And it seems as though that Alexandrian is Eugene based on the episodes trailer:

It appears that the story between Negan and Dwight is about to gear up as well. Hopefully Dwight will turn on Negan. Maybe? Hopefully?

But wait, there’s more! A sneak peek that gives us a better look at what’s to come:

We’ll get to see the direct aftermath of what happens once Daryl takes off, and it ain’t pretty. Dwight looks pretty pissed that he got away. Especially once he realizes that Negan’s getting home just in time. Boy looks SCARED. What’s going to happen to Dwight once Negan finds out? We’ll find out soon.

It’s only fair that after the first couple of episodes focusing mainly on the Alexandrian’s and The Kingdom that we’ll have to go back and find out what The Saviors are up to. No, I’m not happy about it but I can’t get everything I want from this show. “Hostiles and Calamities” looks like it’s setting us up for some discontent within Camp Negan and I can’t say I would hate that. The more people against Negan, the better.
