Daenerys Targaryen – Game of Thrones

Any woman who can command dragons, tame the great Khal, and inspire loyalty from the unsullied is badass in my book. As a teenager, she was sold into a marriage with a stranger and forced into a culture about which she didn’t know anything about.

From there, she led the people out of certain death, amassed a great Army for herself, and freed millions of slaves. She’s the freaking Mother of Dragons, for goodness sake. Daeneyrs fought against the evil intentions of a lot of folks -some of them she trusted and relied on. But she never waivered in her commitment to the iron throne.  Always underestimated, this Khleesi has conquered every obstacle that’s been in her way.

In fact, the more she is opposed, the stronger she gets. She’s coming into her own as a Queen and ruler, and she might just be the one to be the ruler of the seven kingdoms. And she did it all despite being dismissed as a girl child with no grit or teeth. She sure showed them.  She has consistently evaded certain death, and she won’t be denied what’s rightfully hers. We’re rooting so hard for to win the Game of Thrones.
