Seth Meyers vs Stephen Colbert: A Winner is Making Himself Known

In all the days past, there was no clear winner on who was covering Trump the best but now it seems as Seth Meyers is pulling ahead of Colbert.

Seth Meyers is still taking on Trump. Not in a way that is revolutionary, he just continues to bring light to what is going in our country. And not that Colbert isn’t doing that either, it just seems as if Colbert is running out of steam with it all when Meyers is getting angrier.

“Don’t you see, Dorothy? The wall was inside you all along!” Meyers brought on the Wall information and what is happening with the two hunters who shot each other and blamed illegal immigrants.

And Seth left us with this final thought on the immigration issues and what Trump is trying to do. “These immigration policies are cruel, they’re unnecessary, and ineffective.”

And then there is Colbert. Who just took jokes that we’ve all made about Trump and his ‘secrets’ and created an ‘informant’ character and called it a day. It’s not that it is bad or anything, it’s just something we have all seen and heard.

While Seth Meyers is continually showing us new information and giving us in-depth looks at what this administration is doing, Colbert is just digging for the laughs with this bit. Again, not that that is bad. We just need more.

The world is a bit of a mess right now and there isn’t much we can do but with people like Seth Meyers being honest with us, it really helps us all understand exactly what is happening with our government.
