From writer of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and How I Met Your Mother, Most Likely to Murder has cast Rachel Bloom and Adam Pally to star.
Upright Citizens Brigade comedy fans are rejoicing as Rachel Bloom and Adam Pally have been added to the cast of Most Likely to Murder. The film, co-written by Bloom’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend coworker Dan Gregor, features a high school reunion.
When Billy, the once popular kid, goes back to his hometown, he finds out that he isn’t cool anymore. And to top it off, the girl he had a crush on is with the guy everyone made fun of in school.
But when the school loser’s mother actually dies, Billy makes it his goal to prove that her death was actually a murder. Now whether or not it really is a murder, we’ll just have to wait and see until the movie comes out.
According to Deadline, Gregor (and co-writer Doug Mand) refer to the film as “Refer Madness for stoners”. The mystery comedy seems to be shaping up to be a great movie. With both Pally and Bloom, comedy fans are excited and the plot seems to be on the more interesting side.
It’s just exciting to see these two get big movie roles. They work so hard and continue to make brilliant content. So seeing them have this kind of movie makes it just feel right. After all, a movie with Adam Pally and Rachel Bloom is going to be amazing no matter what.
