Mark Hamill is Still Alive but Stop Liking that Fake Obituary Post
No worries everyone, Mark Hamill is alive and well but he doesn’t seem to care for that fake obituary post that has over 105,000 likes.
Mark Hamill was the victim of the fake celebrity death tweet. For a brief moment, we all feared the worst and thought that we had lost Mark Hamill too. It would have been the first truly shocking celebrity death of 2017. Lucky for all of us, it wasn’t real.
A few days ago, a parody site tweeted that the actor had passed away. And for fans of Star Wars, we all screamed “please our hearts can’t handle this”. Luckily Mark jumped on the band wagon and told everyone that he was alive and well.
But now it seems as if Mark is a little upset that his fake obituary continues to get likes. Mainly because he is, you know, alive.
The whole story is just kind of funny when you think about it. We were all so worried about celebrity deaths from last year that when we heard the fake news, we ran with it. And now Mark is sitting there wondering why suddenly everyone loves the fact that he is fake dead.
Or maybe Mark is referring to his response to the fake obituary, which makes sense. We don’t want Mark to die so of course we like a post of him defending his alive-ness. Whatever it was, it’s just a little funny to see Mark Hamill still telling everyone that he is alive and well.
