A long time ago (the 1980’s), in a galaxy far far away (planet Earth prior to Trump becoming President — yes, it really was a whole different galaxy), Jimmy Buffett delighted us with tales of a mythical place called Margaritaville. This song was so popular, it went to number one on the Billboard charts. Buffett proceeded to tell us about various other foods and beverages he would enjoy on his island paradise trips, including a certain cheeseburger (that he liked with French fried potatoes and a big kosher pickle). Today, however, Jimmy Buffett is an entrepreneur of sorts, who turned his love of margaritas into a cottage industry with a Margaritaville chain of restaurants, foods, and beverages. Naturally, the “Come Monday” singer has his own margarita recipes, one of which we share above. Cheeseburger, French fried potatoes, and big kosher pickle not included, though advised.
