As a public service announcement, we’ve come up with these wonderful margarita recipes to help you celebrate National Margarita Day. Skoal!

The margarita – also known as the gift from God, the perfect end to a long work week, and the reason we love 5:00 p.m. on a Friday afternoon. Today is National Margarita Day, of course, because America – and, indeed, the world – saw it fit to bless us with a day to celebrate this manna from Heaven.

For those of you unfamiliar with the beautiful confluence of liquors and flavors that is known as the margarita, the basic ingredients are triple sec, tequila, and lemon (or lime) juice. It’s then poured into a glass that has granulated sugar, or kosher salt, on the rim.

Jimmy Buffett wrote a #1 song about it (and don’t worry, his own brand of margarita makes this list). A day is celebrated in praise of it. And countless twenty-something year olds have enjoyed it since, it seems, the beginning of time. Whether you’re a millennial, a Gen Xer, a baby boomer, or just another average Joe looking for a way to unwind, there’s no better way to do so than with a margarita.

But why just stick to a boring old margarita with boring old flavors? Why not mix it up a little bit?

In honor of National Margarita Day, we’ve come up with this list of the ten best margarita recipes for you to try and enjoy. This list, of course, is in no particular order.
