Supernatural Season 12 Episode 13 “Family Feud” Synopsis

Supernatural’s Season 12 bombshell last week continues with more revelations. The Winchesters discover more about Crowley, Rowena, and Lucifer’s baby mama.

Honestly, who isn’t still reeling after the last Supernatural episode? Castiel told the Winchesters (and Dean, first….) he loved them, Mama Winchester called Castiel one of her boys but made some fishy choices for the British Men of Letters, Crowley made a deal with a Prince of Hell to save them, and somehow Lucifer is back again.

After that amazing piece of character work, complete with Season 1 callbacks, how will the boys get back to the plot at hand?

"Sam and Dean investigate a murder at a museum and learn a ghost from a merchant ship that sank in 1723 may be at the heart of the mystery. They also realize the ship is the same one that Crowley’s son Gavin should have been aboard, so they enlist help from Rowena to track Gavin down. Meanwhile, Kelly Kline, still pregnant with Lucifer’s child, takes refuge with a demon after an angel tries to kill her."

While the penultimate episode of the season, it still seems like Season 12 is following the same pattern. Keep the plot going but stick to the magic that makes the show good – a monster of the day and an interesting side character (in this case, Crowley).

Hopefully they’ll stop with the “Crowley has to go back to being a bad guy” BS and just let him join Team Free Will already. This season is all about expanding the Winchester family and giving more than just the brothers importance. Why should Crowley be left out of that? Sam and Dean, their mom back from the dead, a renegade angel and the King of Hell? Now THAT would give John Winchester and the Season 1 boys a heart attack.

Next: If Supernatural has a spinoff, it should be female-led
