Every detail you see, every color, every shot – each are picked and chosen carefully, masterfully planned and placed as such. Many of the nominated films this year were grand and powerful – but not only that, they were beautiful, dark, light and above all else, memorable. Whether it was the carefully eyed cinematography putting us in the very stories with those characters, or the visual effects taking us to another world, far, far away – the nominees this year were all stunning.
