Supergirl Season 2 Episode 13 “Mr. & Mrs. Mxyzptlk” Synopsis
Supergirl’s Valentines Day episode titled “Mr. & Mrs. Mxyzptlk” is finally here and it looks like everyone’s getting a little love.
This episode of Supergirl is about to get WEIRD. A magical man comes to town and claims his undying love for Kara, but when Kara rejects him, chaos ensues in National City.
The official synopsis for this episode put out by TV Guide reads:
“A magical imp named Mr. Mxyzptlk (guest star Peter Gadiot) shows up on Earth and declares his love for Kara (Melissa Benoist), who tries to let him down easy. However, he won’t take no for an answer and starts to wreak havoc on National City. As Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Kara argue over how to get rid of Mr. Mxyzptlk, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) celebrate their first Valentine’s Day together.”
All I got out of that was “Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) celebrate their first Valentine’s Day together.” Anyone else?

Okay, so what we know is that Mon-El and Kara were about to kiss last episode when they were rudely (not rudely) interrupted by this magical blue blob named Mr. Mxyzptlk, making Mr. Mxyzptlk the entire Supercorp fandoms new hero. Am I wrong? But it seems as though he’s about to bring more harm than good.
And it also seems as though Maggie Sawyer isn’t a huge Valentines Day fan, so what’s going to happen there? I can only imagine that Alex Danvers has been waiting to share this day with someone special her entire life. Will Maggie suck it up and put on a show for her girlfriend?
