What Is Millie Bobby Brown Doing With the Avengers Directors?

The directors of Avengers: Infinity War, Anthony and Joe Russo, posted a photo with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown. Let’s speculate.

When it comes to speculation, oftentimes I like to stoke the flames just to keep things spicy. Sometimes I’ll just throw out a random theory just to see how it floats, but the internet does a pretty good job of maintaining a strict amount of lunacy. In fact, the downfall of mankind is probably going to be combustion by spoiler.

Now, our latest “Spec-fest” (that’s what I’m calling it now, royalty free) comes courtesy of the Russo Brothers and their recent Facebook post. In an effort that can only be described as softcore trolling, they shared a picture of Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown on set with them as “guest director.”

Of course, at this point, you may be wondering, “On the set of what?” Well, we don’t know.

What we do know is that Avengers: Infinity War began production in Georgia last month. Additionally, Stranger Things shoots in Atlanta as well, with production on season 2 reportedly running through April. So the most sane response is that Millie Bobby Brown walked a few blocks / across the lot to the Avengers: Infinity War set, presented the guard with her SAG Award named Jeff, and asked for an audience with the Russo Brothers. Just for fun.

However, for the sake of argument, I tried to find a character that Millie Bobby Brown could play in the MCU. Unfortunately, none immediately came to mind. Personally, I’d love to see her show up somewhere with Captain Marvel (who will make her first appearance in Infinity War), but that’s probably a long shot.

On the other hand, the only additional director announced for Stranger Things so far is Finding Dory‘s Andrew Stanton. The remaining directors are Matt and Ross Duffer, and Shawn Levy, with no involvement from the Russo Brothers that we know of yet.

Still, this is the best theory:
