Colbert and Meyers Destroy Donald Trump’s Press Conference
Our favorite late night talk show hosts, Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers, both cover Donald Trump’s first solo press conference.
Unless you’re living under a rock or avoiding all possible contact with anything political (which I really don’t blame you anymore), then you know that Donald Trump held his first solo press conference yesterday. So of course, it was the highlight of late night TV.
Stephen Colbert kicked off The Late Show last night with one word: “Wow.” A word we’re pretty much all saying at this point in this Trump presidency. He talked about the first solo “stress” conference: “It was a robust 1 hour and 17 minutes long. That is beefy. So beefy you could eat it with a fork but you’ll want to use a spoon to get every drop of the crazy.”

He describes the press conference as “still steaming” and you could warm your hands over it. CNN called it unhinged, but we all know CNN is fake news so let’s see what Fox News said… “Wow. Alrighty then.”
Colbert wasn’t the only one to cover this. Seth Meyers used his A Closer Look segment on his show, describing the press conference a little bit differently.
“Batshit crazy.”
Check out his clip here:
To put it simply: “Now to set the scene for this press conference- in just over three weeks, Trump’s white house has been plagued by in-fighting, legal challenges, messy executive orders, the resignation of his national security advisor, and now, the revelation that his aides had contact with Russia during the campaign.”
But we’ll have to keep in mind that everything reported in Trump’s America is apparently fake news now so really, who’s to believe at this point?
