My mother hates country music. When I say that she hates it, I mean she goes on a tirade every time it comes on. “I don’t get it. It’s all about your tractor trunk and a woman left you so I’m gonna cry about it. Country music is terrible.”

So I say that Blake Shelton is on this list for his contributions to The Voice alone. Because if there is any chance at all that my mother listened to country music, I want to see video of it because I don’t believe she did so willingly.
