Trump is not Pleased with Saturday Night Live Portrayal of Him

It wouldn’t be Trump if he wasn’t mad about Saturday Night Live and their portrayal of his administration. And now, the whole White House is involved.

Our new normal is checking in every Sunday to see what the president says about Saturday Night Live. Honestly, it is pathetic, but with a president who is so worried about image and how he is perceived, of course he is angry with how the satire sketch show depicts his administration.

First, he couldn’t stand Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of him. The actor joined the cast as a guest star this year. Almost every episode features him as the president and the real Donald can’t stand it. Then, he hated that Sean Spicer was portrayed by a woman. So that fueled the show to then cast Kate McKinnon as Jeff Sessions along said Melissa McCartyh’s Spicer just to spite him.

And now he doesn’t like how the show shows him as Steve Bannon’s mouthpiece. Honestly the show just calls them like they see them. But what is shocking about the whole situation is that Trump is caring more about Saturday Night Live than actual threats to our national security.

This week, you know the one where the National Security Advisor committed treason, is not one where SNL should be a high priority for the leader of the free world. And yet he still made time to express the White House’s upset at a comedy show.

It’s just all really great because during Obama’s presidency, Trump was the first one to yell about Obama golfing or watching television. If Barack Obama so much as breathed that he watched an episode of TV, Trump was the first one to call him out on Twitter.

But I guess when you’re an incompetent president, you can watch all the Saturday Night Live you want.
