American Horror Story Season 7 Theme is Finally Announced
Ryan Murphy went on Watch What Happens Live last night to talk about American Horror Story season 7 and the theme is pretty out there.
If you were missing American Horror Story and the election cycle, you’re in luck! The next season will feature the election we just went through. Now here’s the thing, we don’t know if there’s a Trump in it or not.
When Andy Cohen asked Ryan about the show, it was clear he didn’t think he’d get the amount of information that Murphy gave up. But Ryan gave us a theme as well as a shooting date and a thought into an actual Trump being in it.
For those who don’t know, Murphy is known for his shows Nip/Tuck, Glee, American Crime Story, Feud, and of course American Horror Story. The show changes themes and characters each season and if you’ve ever sat through a Ryan Murphy show, that’s a good thing.
But this next season is definitely going to hit close to home. And we already have Sarah Paulson confirmed for season 7 of the show. The question still remains though, who is going to be Hillary and who is going to be Trump?
Although he didn’t confirm or deny the question about Donald Trump, you know there will be characters who are direct reflections of the candidates. I, for one, hope that Murphy finally shows us that Ted Cruz is, in fact, the Zodiac Killer. That’d be the greatest American Horror Story twist of all time.
No matter what the show actually focuses on, it is a pretty great concept and it’s surprising that Ryan is the first to really capitalize on it.
