Give the Best Valentines to Your Sweetie: Agents of SHIELD

For your Marvel-crazed sweetheart, give them “Agents of SHIELD” Valentines, courtesy of their Twitter account. Be warned: Puns ahead

Agents of SHIELD might not be the first thing that springs to mind when you think of Valentine’s Day. Or Valentines cards. Or anything romantic, really.

You might be like me, and always give your significant other an “I Choo-Choo-Choose You” Valentine you printed out on card stock paper from a printer with very little ink left in it. Or you might be an over-the-top kind of person.

However, there is no denying that Agents of SHIELD knocked it out of the park with Valentines cards this year.

With FitzSimmons a staple of every episode, it’s time to turn our attention to the other fantastic relationship on our screens: Mack and Elena. They’ve had their ups and downs and they danced around it for far too long. They are fantastic together. But honestly, even better than this Valentine is when you bring in the puns:

Can’t you just see Director Mace giving this card to every single person working at SHIELD HQ because he has to include everyone? And Valentines are mandatory. They’re good for team morale!

What other ridiculous SHIELD Valentines can we come up with? How about a Coulson one with the line “Give a hand to your Valentine.” “Be the real Director this Valentine’s Day.” “Find your one true love that’s not actually a robot” (okay that one is a stretch).

How about Grant Ward/Hive? “I’m of a Hive mind that I love you!”

The natural FitzSimmons has to be “You’re the Fitz to my Simmons.” Or if you want to get a little geekier, “The facts are irrefutable: You’re my Valentine!”

And of course, a Melinda May one with no caption whatsoever. Not even a smile on her face. It’s perfect.
