What better way to get through the Grammy Awards tonight than with a game to play? Fortunately, Culturess has you covered.

Honestly, we all know that the Grammy Awards provide some great performances, and that gives you a reason to sit through the awards show. However, what about the times between the performances?

Well, that’s where this game comes in. Pick a drink of choice — and yes, it can be water or soda, we don’t judge here at Culturess — pick your rules or follow them all, and prepare to enjoy the Grammys tonight!

The Artist Rules

  • Pick an artist with multiple nominations. (Good choices include Adele or Beyoncé.)
  • Drink every time they win an award.
    • For hard mode, finish your drink every time they win.
  • Finish your drink and pour a new round if they win a major award like Song of the Year or Record of the Year.

The Surprise Rules

  • Drink every time someone that you haven’t heard of wins.
  • Finish your drink if you only know of the artist but not the music for which they won.
  • Finish your drink and start another if you have been intentionally avoiding a song or album that wins.

The Performance Rules

  • Pick one or more artists that are performing tonight. Drink every time their name comes up, whether it’s for an award win or for a tease like “Coming up…Bruno Mars!”
  • Drink throughout their performance.
  • Sing along and toast if they perform one of your favorite songs, then down your drink and start another.

The Red Carpet Rules

  • If you’re watching the red carpet, take a drink every time you see something you like.
  • Finish your drink and pour another if you really hate something.
  • Toast if one of your favorite artists comes out looking absolutely fabulous.

The Host Rules

  • Drink every time James Corden manages to make you laugh.
  • Drink if he puts on a musical performance of his own.
  • Finish your drink if a joke falls flat, either with the audience or with you personally.
  • Sigh and drink if he reuses Carpool Karaoke from The Late Late Show.
