Grammys 2017: Predictions

On Sunday, February 12th, the Recording Academy will hand out awards commonly known as The Grammys. And so we made some predictions!

There will be tons of awards given out across a slew of categories ranging from Best Rap Album to Best New Artist. Hugely popular artists are up against other hugely popular artists. Beyoncé has nine nominations this year for her album

Beyoncé has nine nominations this year for her album Lemonade and several tracks on it including “Formation”. Adele is another powerhouse with five nominations this year for her album 25 and uber-popular track “Hello”. In the Rap categories, Drake will face off against Chance the Rapper. Justin Bieber will also try to take on Beyoncé and Adele in many of the Pop categories.

So with big match-ups taking center stage this year, it’s difficult to predict whether one artist will sweep or not. Will Lemonade pick up all nine awards or can Adele win in at least a few categories? And will newcomers The Chainsmokers prevail over popular names like Rhianna and Drake?

And even bigger question might be if there will be any surprises at The Grammys considering there are big names in each category. Here are our predictions for who is likely to win each of these big categories on Sunday night.
