The Grammys sometimes make history with their amazing choices but there are definitely some bad ones. Here are the worst Grammy wins.
Winning a Grammy is an important feat for any artist. You work your entire life towards a goal and when you finally succeed, there is no better feeling. But some of the wins of the past were not necessarily the best choices. Not because the artists are bad but because those albums are not as important as other’s they were nominated against.
So we’re going to take a look at some of those winners who might not have necessarily deserved it. Again, this isn’t saying they’re bad artists. George Harrison & Friends made this list and George Harrison is one of the greatest artists we have to listen to and have had to see perform!
It is just that these albums haven’t necessarily held the test of time like others in their categories. so we’re going to look at winners from past Grammy ceremonies and their choice of Best Album and see where the problems lie. And believe me, there are quite a few problems.
Like Glen Campbell beating Bookends by Simon and Garfunkel. How does By the Time I Get to Phoenix beat Bookends? Well, we’ll look at all that and more to try and figure out why these albums were even chosen in the first place.
