Stevland Morris has been amazing since birth. Despite being blind basically all his life, Stevie Wonder found a way to become one the most commercially successful entertainers of all time. With hits like “Superstition” and “(You Are) the Sunshine of My Life”, Stevie Wonder’s one of the most awarded and celebrated artists of our time.
In fact, he won three Grammys in the ’70s for his albums Innervision, Fullfillingness First Finale and Songs in the Key of Life. During that decade, the understanding was that if Stevie made an album, they were going to give him a golden gramophone.
While Stevland isn’t making good music, he honors his culture by acting as a political activist. After sweeping the Grammys in the ’70s, Wonder headed up the campaign to honor Martin Luther King Jr. by making his birthday a national holiday. Long story short, he’s a great artist and a humanitarian. Therefore, he’s also one of the best Grammy winners of all time. One of the best, period.
