The Second Wave of Steven Universe Funko Pop! Dolls are Coming

Steven Universe is taking over the internet and now you can finally buy Funko Pop dolls of your favorite characters from the show.

Steven Universe surprising took the adult world by storm. A show meant for children seems to have more traction now to adults. Why? Because it is just a generally awesome show. Created by Rebecca Sugar, Steven Universe is the first Cartoon Network show to be created by a woman.

Steven, Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl have already had Funko Pop dolls ready to buy. And now the rest of Steven’s friends are making their way to the Funko Pop family. With Rose Quartz, Connie, Lion, Lapis, and Peridot, you can own even more of your favorite characters! The only problem is that Flocked Lion is only available at Hot Topic! So you might have to buy him separately from your other favorites.

For those who don’t know what the show is about, Polygon explains it perfectly. “Steven Universe is what happens when a generation who grew up watching Sailor Moon and other Magical Girl anime alongside standard Western Saturday morning fare grows up and becomes animators.”

The show can be seen on Cartoon Network and if you dare ask someone about it, be prepared to listen to them ramble on and on about why it is amazing. Believe me, I made that mistake once and it is how I ended up watching the show! You can catch up on the show on Hulu and experience the magic for yourself.
