The Trailer for Marvel’s Iron Fist is Here. The Final Defender has Arrived

The Defenders are Marvel’s gritty New York crime fighters and now the Iron Fist has finally arrived. Danny Rand joins the Marvel Netflix universe at last.

Marvel’s Iron Fist had some announcements back at New York Comic Con in October of last year. But the extended trailer is finally here and it has everyone pretty excited. For those who don’t know, Danny Rand (the Iron Fist) was the song of a billionaire whose parents died in a plane crash.

Danny as a young boy visits the mystic city of K’un-Lun, which appears once every ten years in the Himalayas.

While there, Danny won the right to claim the power of the Shou-Lao the Undying. And that is how the Iron Fist was born. In the trailer, we don’t really get to see much of the origin but we do get to see the plane crash that killed Rand’s parents.

From the trailer, we see that Claire (Rosario Dawson) makes yet another appearance in the Marvel television universe. But even more importantly, the finale defender is finally here. For those who don’t know, the Defender consist of Jessica Jones, Matt Murdock, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand. The three New York based superheroes defend America’s greatest city. Even if the majority of their power is on Hell’s Kitchen (it’s not that big of a place if you ask me).

But this trailer definitely does its job. It has us super excited for what the Iron Fist television show has in store for us. And if it is anything like Jessica Jones or Daredevil or Luke Cage, we’re all going to be wanting more and more.
