Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has a Broadway Date and Potential Theater

The production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London has made fans jealous in the United States. But worry no longer, it is coming to New York!

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the highly anticipated continuation of the Harry Potter series. Fans all over the world fell in love with the series as children and loved the play when it was released to bookstores last July.

But now, we have information on the Broadway transfer! According to our sister site WizardsandWhatnot, the show will transfer to Broadway winter of 2018! And auditions are already underway. According to the source, ATG is already searching for a cast for the show here in America.

We don’t know who from the original production will transfer with it but we do know that they are looking at the Lyric theater to house the production. Currently the show Paramour lives there but there are rumors that come this May the show will leave Broadway and renovations to the theater will begin.

For those who don’t know about the production, it follows Harry’s son at his time in Hogwarts. His best friend is Scorpius Malfoy (Draco’s son) and the two find themselves fighting against time (literally) to not bring back Voldemort once more.

The show has been met with some criticisms but one thing is certain, everyone who sees it says it is absolutely magical! And we here in the United States want to experience that magic too! Now, we just have to wait until winter of next year. But we can do it!
