Pacey Whitter – Dawson’s Creek

Pacey always seemed like he would be permanently destined for the “friend zone.” As part of the most basic love triangle in TV history, Pacey had to compete for the girl next door with film geek, Dawson. Joey may have been the only girl in America who was conflicted about who to love.

I was always rooting for Pacey to win her heart, and he waited patiently for what seemed like years for her to realize what everybody already knew. Pacey was the best choice, by far. He was more mature, more emotionally intelligent, and with all that curly hair, the more handsome of the two. He also had a devilish grin and penchant for Hawaiin shirts that I couldn’t get mad at. I mean, it was the ’90s, after all.

Pacey was the kind of guy who you could come to if you wanted adventure, to cry on his shoulder, or to gossip about other folks, He was a boyfriend of many talents, and he just wasn’t the whiner that Dawson was. When you were his girlfriend, you were also his confidant, his best buddy, and his partner in crime. He was a fun guy, and he always made sure you had fun, too.
