Nick Viall – The Bachelor

Nick Viall makes this list by virtue of all the practice he’s had at being a boyfriend. He’s the Bachelor on the 21st season, and this is his third attempt to find love the new fashioned way – on TV. These three attempts don’t include his appearances on other installments of the franchise, such as Bachelor in Paradise.

In his latest attempt to find love, Nick is the one doing the searching, whittling down dozens of women to a few lucky girls. That’s a lot of women, and he’s handling things like a pro. His diplomacy amidst all the female politics is genius and he is careful to be gracious in all situations.

The Bachelor is infamous for arranging the most awkward situations for Nick and his dates. He’s had to face down two feuding women on the same date and play referee for their silly nonsense. He may have been secretly judging their childish behavior, but on the outside, he was always the gentleman. He thoughtfully listened to these silly women whine about “she started it,” and he never once rolled his eyes.

On top of all his experience with differing personalities, he also has a lot of restraint. As a boyfriend, it seems like he would put up with a lot of crap before losing his temper. Patience is a virtue, after all.
