The Biggest OMG Moments from Lady Gaga’s Halftime Performance at the Super Bowl

Lady Gaga gave the halftime performance of a lifetime at the Super Bowl tonight and we have the biggest OMG moments along with her setlist!

Lady Gaga took the stage and it was everything we’ve ever dreamed of. Well first off, she was standing on the very top of the Superdome and sang with so much shade towards Trump and what he was doing and it only got better from there.

And did we mention drones? Because there were a ton of drones and it made sure we saw absolutely everything in this performance and this was definitely one you didn’t want to miss.

Watch the whole thing here:

“God Bless America”/”This Land is Your Land”

Gaga started with standing on the edge of NRG Stadium singing a mash-up of “God Bless America” and “This Land is Your Land”. For those who don’t know, both of these songs have been used during the protests towards Trump’s Muslim ban (This Land is Your Land moreso) but still. Gaga’s message was clear and it was amazing.

“Poker Face”

Every song that Gaga did was chosen for a reason. “Poker Face” was probably picked because there is a line in the beginning of the song that goes “I want to hold them like they do in Texas please.” But there was definitely a different change to the song. There was a cooler sound to it and Gaga just did an incredible job on it.

“Born This Way”

Another jab at the state of our country (in my opinion), Gaga chose to sing “Born This Way”. The song is a song all about acceptance of everyone and anyone. The song, if you’ve lived in a bunker, is just saying that it doesn’t matter what you are. “No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian transgendered life, I’m on the right track baby I was born to survive.”

“Telephone”

For a host second, everyone around the world thought that Beyoncé was about to sing “Telephone” with Gaga with twins growing inside of her. It didn’t happen but that is perfectly okay because Lady Gaga did an incredible job on the song all on her own.

“Just Dance”

Remember Gaga’s first album? If you don’t, it’s okay, but her earlier music is just so much fun to listen to. Not that her music now is bad or anything. It’s just nice to listen to songs like “Just Dance” and remember how amazing Gaga has always been.

Giving Me a Million Reasons

Her new song is honestly beautiful. For many, including myself, this was the first time I had ever heard it and it was a nice break from the hard hitting dance hits that Gaga was giving us. But she did wonderful in the whole performance but this song was the slower song in the show and was pretty amazing.

“Bad Romance”

Listen, Lady Gaga literally stopped her performance by dropping a microphone and then jumping off a platform into the abyss. No really, no one knows where she is. But that’s okay because Lady Gaga just made the world a better place with this amazing show so if she’s on her way out, then she left with quite the bang.
