She has an extra 2-4 weeks on everyone else so she’ll obviously know how to get down and dirty on the playing field. That’ll make up for her size, as a Brussels Griffon mix is just a tiny little thing. That face means business so keep your eyes on Peanut this Sunday, don’t let the name fool you.

This little pit bull mix is from Morris Animal Refuge and is certainly a sight for sore eyes. He’s one of three to appear in the Puppy Bowl from the Philadelphia area. The CEO Lewis Checchia is so happy to have multiple puppies involved this year. “We may be a small shelter, but we come out with some great champions. It’s also great expsoure lore for animal welfare,” says Checchia. “Every year, it brings new people into the shelter to adopt animals, and that’s what we’re all about.”
