Name: Hairy Fitzgerald

Position / Style: Lickbacker

Nickname: “Captain Hook”

Demeanor: Curious

Loves to eat: Mice-a-roni

Hates: Dog people

Quote: “Scratch me if you can.”

If curiosity killed the cat and satisfaction brought it back, then why is this cat named Captain Hook instead of Cat-ptain Hook? I mean, they did “Lickbacker.” Lickbacker, folks. Though, let’s be real here: the dog versus cat argument never gets old. But when it comes to adoption, it doesn’t matter if you choose a dog, cat or tarantula. Of course, what matters is if your new fur-riend has a cool name. And what’s cooler than Hairy Fitzgerald?

Name: Moose

Position / Style: Facelicker

Nickname: “Titan of Tuna”

Demeanor: Anxious

Loves: Seafood

Hates: The Sea

Quote: “I’m not sure what you mean by ‘No’.”

This adorable kitten looks like it’s absolutely filled with fear. It looks like an anxiety-ridden kitten (try saying that three times fast) who probably hits the ceiling every time someone makes a sudden movement, and I am here for it. I adopted a kitten last year who is all about the face. She sits on my face, licks it, brings all her toys and drops them on it. Likewise, everything about Moose makes me happy. All the way down to Moose’s inability to accept the word ‘no’. I mean, he just looks like a little cloud of dust.
