“Kitten Bowl” is a feline catstravaganza presented in association with North Shore Animal League America (the nation’s largest no-kill shelter and animal adoption organization) and Last Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. Hosted by Beth Stern, TV personality and national spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America, “Kitten Bowl” is a star-studded lineup that includes legendary New York Yankees radio voice John Sterling and award-winning reporter, sports analyst and commentator Mary Carillo as “Kitten Bowl’s” official play-by-play announcer, and Boomer Esiason as the Feline Football League’s (FFL) Commissioner. Name: Mitzi

Position / Style: Nose Tickle

Demeanor: Lazy

Nickname: “The Cat’s Meow”

Beverage: Mice tea

Holds League Record For: Cuddles achieved

Quote: “Prepare for a tongue lashing.”

So, just how many positions are there in football? There must be a lot. Now, with a name like Mitzi, obviously, she’s going to be a real docile gal. Mitzi would probably make an excellent partner for Netflix and Chill on the weekends. Especially since she holds the league record for cuddles achieved. I’m sure her cuddles are the cat’s meow. But the only way to truly find out would be to take this kitten home with you!

Name: Catsanova

Position / Style: Scratch Guard

Demeanor: Ferocious

Nickname: “Wild Thing”

Greatest Frustration: The fact birds can fly

Tends to be: A little hot under the collar

Quote: “Cute can only get you so far.”

Not all birds can fly, my little kitten friend. Not all birds. I’m getting a lot of mixed signals from this particular player. Catsanova is smooth but ferocious. Cute but a little hot. And is also a wild thing? What a multi-faceted little cat this one is. When it comes to football, it’s important to be quick on your toes and be able to adapt to any situations, so I understand why Catsanova made the team.
