Here are 25 of the Best Super Bowl Half Time Performances Ever
19. Gloria Estefan, Stevie Wonder, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Watching this video and seeing all the swing dancing, I said “Oh look how fun this is!” out loud. Because that’s the best way to describe this whole performance. It is just really cute. Big Voodoo Daddy did an incredible job bringing the era of swing music alive for the modern audience. But they were the only performers this year.
No, not in the slightest. After Big Voodoo Daddy came Stevie Wonder and really any opportunity to see Stevie sing is one to not miss. It is a pleasure, especially when he sings “Superstitious” and really any of his classic songs that we love.
But again, he was not the only performer. They also had Gloria Estefan. Now while Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Stevie Wonder made a little sense, Gloria seemed to be the one that didn’t really go with the theme.
The performance, however, was incredible. Gloria and Stevie ended up singing with each other and singing one another’s songs. That was the best part really. They traded off singing back and forth and seemed to have a blast while doing it.
It was just a weird group of people singing together. You wouldn’t really think of them going together but it ended up working.
