Growing up, “Purple Rain” was one of my favorite songs. I felt like I was special until I realized that everyone loved the song “Purple Rain”. Why? It is absolutely incredible and watching Prince perform it is something else entirely.

Actually, just watching Prince perform is a luxury. His music was just something that makes everyone want to dance and have an amazing time and listening to it at the Super Bowl got everyone hyped for the big game.

And when he sang “Best of You”, it was a little strange but also perfect because it is Prince. He can really do absolutely no wrong. But the best part of the entire performance? When he sang the entirety of “Purple Rain”.

If you’ve never heard the song, it is actually a pretty long song. And most performers cut their songs or mix them up to give a variety. But not Prince. He stood on that stage and sang the whole song and really it meant the world to everyone who loved that song. Lucky for Prince, everyone loves the song so we all got emotional.
