9. Paul McCartney

Okay real talk: I saw Paul McCartney in concert when I graduated high school and it was still the greatest thing I ever witnessed. Every single person alive today has heard a song from The Beatles. Whether it was in a movie or your parents showed you, there isn’t anyone out there who doesn’t know who they are.

So to see Paul live is an experience like no other. Sitting in an arena and hearing everyone sing “Hey Jude” together makes anyone emotional. The performance at the 2005 Super Bowl was pretty great. It was a mix of songs from the Beatles as well as his own music.

He, of course, covered “Live and Let Die” as well as “Get Back”, and “Hey Jude”. Really, even watching this performance makes you emotional. It’s hard not to look at this man and be inspired by the music he created and what he gave the world.

Paul McCartney is just an incredible person and to see his legacy out there like that is amazing. An entire arena of people who were there to watch a football game knew every word to his song and really, the world is a better place because of Paul McCartney.
