Obviously, Super Bowl 51 is looming just around the corner and many of you are itching to get on with it. Although we are sad to see the NFL season come to a close, there is still the excitement of watching your favorite team putting it all on the line. You can look forward to the heart-pounding action, tailgating, the halftime show, and of course, there are those who just can’t wait to see the commercials. All of this is happening on Feb. 5 at the NRG Stadium in Houston, TX.
This has really shaped up to be an exciting year for the Atlanta Falcons (11-5), who have only made it to the Super Bowl one other time in team history. And this was back in 1999! Unfortunately, they lost to the Broncos, so they have a 0-1 Super Bowl record. Of course, the team is headed by quarterback, Matt Ryan, who has an unbelievable record of 38 touchdowns and only 7 interceptions. On the other hand, you have the New England Patriots (14-2), who will be making their 9th Super Bowl appearance and have a 4-4 record. They are led by Tom Brady, whose record stands at 28 touchdowns with 2 interceptions.
Fox has announced that you will not need to enter your subscription details in order to stream Super Bowl 51 using the Fox Sports Go app. Additionally, Fox plans to offer Fox Sports VR, their virtual reality experience.
With VR, you can watch the Top 20 highlights from Super Bowl 51. According to CNN Money, this option will be near to real-time and will be broken into 4 highlights per quarter. So, you can stream the highlights with the app using your virtual reality headset, or a 360-degree view using your mobile app. But you will need your paid credentials for this choice!
