New LEGO Batman Movie Clip Welcomes You to the Batcave

In the new clip for The LEGO Batman Movie, Robin takes a walking tour of the Batcave and touches a lot of things he’s not supposed to.

Since his first debut, Michael Cera has been spot on with the voice of a somewhat flamboyant Robin. Obviously, he decided to play up some of the aspects of Robin that have been around from the very beginning, like his obsession with tights and the fact that he lives a rather intimate life with Batman. I mean, in the sense that they know each other’s secrets and live in the same house together.

Regardless, it works. And it’s hilarious.

Of course, The LEGO Batman Movie has been consistently releasing clips left and right. And by delivering new content semi-weekly, it looks like The LEGO Batman Movie has a decent chance of scoring big on opening weekend. When the movie releases, it’ll be going up against Fifty Shades Darker and John Wick 2.

But more importantly, The LEGO Batman Movie will see Batman face off against the Rogues Gallery. And to do so, he’s going to need a little help from his son, Robin.

In the new clip, Robin gets the chance to explore the Batcave. Check it out below:

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!” Robin exclaims before coming upon Batman down in the Batcave. I find it interesting that all of Batman’s vehicles just pop up while he’s walking. God forbid somebody walked into the Batcave, someone with more sinister motivations. Afterward, we get another exchange that’s surely on its way to icon status. Robin asks, “Wait, does Batman live in Bruce Wayne’s basement?” And Batman responds, “No, Bruce Wayne lives in Batman’s attic.”
